🎓🌍 Celebrating the May 2023 New Student Orientation at Canadian College of Technology and Business! 🎉📚

We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our recent New Student Orientation at the Canadian College of Technology and Business (CCTB). Welcoming over 150 talented students from 37 different countries, the event was a true celebration of diversity, knowledge, and community.

Held at the picturesque Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue, the orientation commenced with students registering and having their photo IDs taken. This exciting opportunity allowed everyone to put a face to a name and start connecting right away. The atmosphere buzzed with enthusiasm as students eagerly networked and forged new friendships.

Next, students were guided to an exhibitor hall where they had the chance to engage with representatives from CCTB's exceptional student support networks. These exhibitors shared valuable resources, providing insights into academic services, counseling, extracurricular activities, and more. It was heartwarming to witness our students being offered such comprehensive support right from the start.

Throughout the day, students were treated to captivating conference-style presentations. These sessions covered essential topics, including CCTB's Academic and Student Services policies, strategies for a successful transition to student life in Canada, invaluable tips and tricks for securing part-time jobs, and insights into Canadian etiquette and culture. Our students gained crucial knowledge and learned how to thrive in their new environment.

To showcase the vibrant city they now call home, students embarked on a breathtaking city tour of Downtown Vancouver. This immersive experience included visits to iconic tourist spots, a guided tour of our W Pender campus, a stroll through the vibrant Robson Square, and an exploration of the renowned Vancouver Public Library. Our students were able to appreciate the beauty and cultural richness of their new surroundings.

The immense success of this New Student Orientation was the result of the outstanding collaboration between our dedicated staff and the invaluable contribution of student volunteers. Their tireless efforts in planning and executing this event created an inclusive and welcoming environment, fostering a strong sense of belonging for our students.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to everyone involved in making the May 2023 New Student Orientation an unforgettable experience. Welcome to the Canadian College of Technology and Business family! We are excited to embark on this transformative journey with each and every one of you. 🌟🎓
